Craniosacral Therapy Process

  • Talking Therapy

    Talk (1/3) ➡

Every session begins with a relaxed conversation where you can share what's on your mind and anything you'd like to address. Together we'll talk through how to make the session as restorative as possible, so you can relax, unwind, and we can move to the therapy couch...

  • Craniosacral Therapy

    Touch (2/3) ➡

Craniosacral Therapy focuses on achieving balance through gentle touch. As you rest on a comfortable therapy couch, I apply subtle holds that attune with your body's natural rhythms, soothing your nervous system and encouraging deep relaxation.

  • Peaceful in Nature.

    Balance (3/3)

This is where the real work happens, quietly and on its own terms. As the body feels safe enough to let go of long-held tension, it begins to settle back towards balance. Many people find this is where the benefits start to surface, often in ways they didn't expect.

Practitioner

Richard grew up in Beverley. His path took him through higher education and a career in technology and finance, but he found his true calling in a simpler, more meaningful life. Returning to East Yorkshire, he embraced a more peaceful existence at a local Buddhist centre, where he lived whilst he worked to support disabled and disadvantaged individuals in the community.

Driven by a deep interest in the healing arts, Richard became a certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) practitioner in 2019. Since then, he has been passionate about offering this gentle therapy to those seeking relief and wellness. Now living in a nearby village, Richard is grateful to be offering Craniosacral Therapy in the town he grew up in, helping local people feel better in body and mind.

Health challenges are common, and good solutions can be hard to find. Craniosacral Therapy is a genuinely effective support for both physical and mental wellbeing. It’s more than just a treatment; it's a way to empower your body's natural ability to heal. Supporting the health of the community is the core motivation behind establishing this practice.
